Gina Menichino is a dancer, choreographer, educator, and creative director whose career has taken her from Florida to Los Angeles and New York City—and now back to Tampa as the Founder + Artistic Director of GEM Dance Hub.

Over more than a decade in the industry, Gina has built a career spanning dance education, choreography, commercial and concert dance, on-camera work, and live performance. She has served on faculty at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Center, with additional teaching at Steps on Broadway, Movement Lifestyle, Millennium Dance Complex, and TMilly Studios. She has also taught nationally and internationally through universities, conventions, competitions, and dance organizations.

Her professional work extends beyond the classroom into television, music videos, film, and stage. Gina’s credits include choreography and creative work for artists including Tiësto, Two Friends, REZZ, Daya, and Sad Alex, as well as assisting choreographer Tyce Diorio on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance.

Gina founded GEM Dance Hub to bring those experiences together in one training environment—giving dancers the technical foundation, creative opportunities, industry exposure, and mentorship to discover what they are capable of becoming.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Gina believes great training develops more than technique. Her approach blends classical foundations, contemporary fusion, musicality, acting, and storytelling to help dancers build confidence and discover an authentic performance quality.

At GEM, dancers are encouraged to work hard, take creative risks, and take ownership of their growth. The goal is to develop versatile, resilient artists who are prepared for the stage, the camera, and whatever path they choose to pursue.
